Bishop O’Reilly deemed the communications to be of such significance that he subsequently convened two formal Diocesan Commissions to evaluate both the writings and Anne’s extraordinary experiences. In 2013, at the conclusion of the Commissions’ extensive work, a formal Imprimatur was granted. The writings of the Apostolate carry the Nihil Obstat and the Imprimatur, which are official declarations that a publication is free of doctrinal or moral error and that ecclesiastical permission for its publication has been granted.
In 2018 the Apostolate received canonical recognition as an Association of the Faithful with Juridical Personality. This Sacred Decree issued by Bishop O’Reilly, formalized the movement, and recognized and commended its contribution to the Catholic Church.
