The Apostolate of the Returning King is a new association in the Catholic Church encouraging renewal of the Church through personal holiness. Along with the spiritual writings by Anne, ARK, the Apostolate has 3 charisms as well as 5 guidelines with registered Apostles of the Returning King (ARK) from all over the world following our way.
For practicing Catholics, the Apostolate’s teachings and spirituality provide a bridge for renewed commitment to the sacramental life of the Church. For non-practicing Catholics, the Apostolate provides a way to stay connected to their faith. For non-Catholics, the Apostolate sometimes provides a possible bridge into Catholicism itself. Whatever one’s circumstances, they are welcome to follow this way with us.
Direction for Our Times (DFOT) is the organization which was established in December 2004 to promote the writings of Anne and membership of The Apostolate of The Returning King (ARK). Direction for Our Times is dedicated to facilitating and helping ARK to spread the writings and spirituality throughout the world.
Direction for Our Times publishes the messages and writings recorded by Anne and makes the writings available for purchase and distribution, as well as facilitating translation into multiple different languages. Some of the resources offered by Direction for Our Times include our Free Online Library to all published writings, Prison Ministry, speaking events and conferences, Mass and prayer requests, live-streamed Mass, Message A Day and Monthly Message emails, and more free online resources.
Direction for Our Times is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee (CLG) in Ireland and registered with the Irish Charity Regulator. In the United States, Direction for Our Times is both incorporated and registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the state of Illinois. All donations are tax deductible. ARK Conference Calls are online events held via Zoom where Anne connects with ARK around the world. On these calls Anne provides leadership and formation. Every other Tuesday, Anne shares her thoughts, we reflect together on a piece of writing from the Apostolate, and end with discussion. Prayer groups are a good way for people to come together to pray or share their faith (whether the same or different). They are also a starting point to remedy the astounding loneliness which has overtaken our modern world. A prayer group offers both physical and spiritual benefits. We are social creatures; we crave community, we yearn for belonging, and we deserve to have a solid support network around us. Together we are stronger. Most importantly, Jesus Christ asked us to start and join these ARK Prayer Groups.

As well as staying up to date with current teachings and messages coming from the Apostolate, enrolling allows us to see humanly the number of those we serve alongside. Groups of people assemble throughout history for a purpose. We do that now by enrolling as Apostles of the Returning King and allowing Heaven to unite us for their purposes. Jesus Christ appreciates us standing with him by decision. Also, we enroll because we then choose our identity as followers of a contemporary Way.
