“I have always been aware of God’s presence in my life. In the middle of a family of eight children, we lost my mother when I was eleven. My father, a U.S. Marine, took on the enormous task of raising six girls and two boys as a widower, a daily communicant, and a devoted Catholic businessman.

By twenty, I was a single parent, following an early marriage, divorce, and annulment. Through my twenties, I pursued education and a career, eventually embracing the Franciscan way and professing as a Secular Franciscan. I met and married my husband at thirty, and together we welcomed five more children.

What others would later call mystical experiences were, for me, a quiet and sacred reality of my prayer life—never to be spoken of casually or shared. Near the age of forty, the Lord asked me to begin recording certain spiritual communications and to bring them to our bishop. That difficult moment of obedience became the foundation for what is now the Apostolate of the Returning King.”
